Ready to bring him back?

I believe its time to concede that the show needs Greg back. Mike, Corby and Danny have been doing a decent job during Greg’s absence, however, it’s just different level. Mark adds quite a bit when he is there, but he’s never going to give up his Mavs gig. So, Greggo anyone?

Please do something…the hardline now is horrible. Corby was a yuck monkey and can’t host a show. I’m a P1 D1 also and just can’t listen in the afternoons. Bob and Dan are bad enough but the new hardline is a limp noodle.

What a train wreck of a show today. It’s really hard to forgive a guy like Greggo when he has habitually fallen back into his addictions over and over again. It’s really sad to see. What the heck was that on the radio today? If ESPN turns a blind eye, I’ll never listen again. The guy could barely talk and when he did he was slurring his words all over the place. nucleaar? Listen to the tape. Choppy had to cut him off and correct him for the entire show. You would think that the guy would be on the straight and narrow with this new opportunity and second, third, fourth, whatever chance at making good. What a disgrace, and the fans of Dallas deserve better. I’m all for forgiveness, but maybe Greggo needs to make a real decision on where he wants to go with his life.

Ive been a P1 since ‘94 when I lived in Irving, Tx. But moving back and forth from the metroplex to Abilene, Tx, to Reno, to Maryland, to Chicago….no matter what I allways continued to listen online….altough I went on a state accommodated vacation mandated by a district judge, I had no idea any of this was going on until this fine state of Texas let this wood out into society again and I got on my computer and the first thing I did was go to the Ticket and want to hear the shows. First off, technology has changed a bunch in 544 days and I had to do some upgrading just to hear it, but when I finally got it all set, then noticed there was no Greggo on the Hardline…….I did some googleing and found some stories written out there about what happen….Man thats too bad…..I liked Greggo on the Hardline and going thru addiction myself I wish him all the best and hope he gets the help he needs so he can get right. I ended up going to prison for my addictions and would not wish that place on anyone. Greggo made me laugh and kept me informed on the issue at hand. I very much enjoyed listening to him, but if not listening to him on the Hardline means he has gotten this thing under control, Im good with that. Greggo I wish you the best man and Im sure Ill hear you somewhere out there. Take care of yourself brotha!

Totally agree Mike “P1 Day1.” The little ticket lost me last year with the whole Greggo fiasco. The real farce?? These guys want to make us believe they’re making common man change. Well, as “Hard Lies” clearly documented Greggo was pulling down ~$500k a year for his gig. Rhyner’s pulling at least that down right now while mailing it in on what would better be titles, “The Mediocre, Non-Relevant Line.” All the on air personalities are pulling down Eliteist money–don’t mind it when their stuff is entertaining, but a yuck monkey will always be a yuck monkey, and a washed up–never made it musician turned radio producer along with a merkin wearing 50 something is not entertaining to me–never will be.
It’s D an M with Gordo in the morning (at least they work at keeping their show organized, entertaining and interesting) then XM-Sirius the remainder of my day.
Thanks little ticket for 13 years of great radio. I hate to see something once great die–but you can just feel big change coming on at 1310–and I don’t mean a stronger signal.

I moved to Houston a few years ago, but one thing I looked forward to was catching up with the Ticket whenever business took me back North. Imagine the shock when, after 13 years, there’s no Greggo on the air with the Hardline. The addition of Corby to the mix was a good idea, but in smaller doses. All Corby, all the time… blows. After reading Hard Lies, my feelings are mixed, except when it comes to listening to the show – there’s no chemistry with Davidson and Rhyner. None. It’s time to call it the Flat Line. After listening on the last few trips through town, I think the better days of the little Ticket are mostly behind them.

I listen online, I started listening right after Greggo left the show, so I can’t comment on
him, but I just don’t see what the hype is about with the Hardline, these guys are terrible,
Dunham & Miller are as good as sports radio gets, they are as good as anything else
on the air local or national
But the Hardline? Rhyner? the guy is a company man, a tool and as for Corby, how
in the hell did that clown get on radio? man just because you have a face for radio
doesn’t mean you have to work in radio, just remember this Corby, Rhyner screwed
Greggo, so, BOHICA, buddy.
